CGI has an immediate need for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based systems.
This role involves working on complex software projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving technical solutions with minimal supervision.
You’ll play a key role in shaping architecture, building scalable applications, and ensuring high-quality code through modern development practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proven expertise in Java development (7+ years)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Fargate, S3, SNS, SQS)
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture using Kinesis or Kafka
• Proficiency in Angular (JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, JEST, JUnit, Mockito)
• Familiarity with test automation tools (Karate, Cucumber, Selenium)
• Background in microservices architecture
• Working knowledge of GitLab and Terraform
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Understanding and application of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
• Awareness of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• Security-first mindset in software development
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies is a plus
• Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) are a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
