Job Description:

• *** is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot and microservices architecture to join our delivery team supporting Truist, a leading financial services firm.
  
  


• The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance microservices solutions that align with enterprise architecture and security standards.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture


• Build RESTful APIs and ensure high availability and scalability of backend systems


• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other developers to understand functional and technical requirements


• Participate in code reviews and provide guidance on best practices in Java and microservices development


• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues


• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization strategies


• Ensure secure coding practices, unit testing, and integration with third-party APIs and services

• Hands-on Java development experience


• Strong expertise in Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud


• Solid experience in microservices architecture, RESTful services, and distributed systems


• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Maven)


• Proficient in working with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)


• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Experience in the banking or financial domain (Truist or similar experience is a plus)


• Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)


• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
