Primary Responsibilities
Collaborating with policy and standard owners and their teams across the enterprise to identify data-related requirements that require updates to policies, standards, and other supporting documentation.
Identifying changes within other policies and standards that have an impact on data risk, technology risk, and data-related policies.
Partnering with the Tech Risk and Information Security (TRIS) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) teams to ensure alignment of data and technology risk policies, standards, and controls across the enterprise.
Supporting the design, documentation, and monitoring of data and technology related control requirements to strengthen risk management practices.
Drafting and maintaining materials related to cross-risk operationalization and control requirements, with a focus on integrating data and technology risk perspectives.
Collaborating across the Enterprise Data Office teams to ensure policy and standards requirements across risks are holistic, consistent, and effective.
Monitoring emerging technology and data risks to recommend proactive policy and control enhancements.
Qualification Requirements
A strong strategic approach with 5+ years prior experience in Data Management and Data Governance.
Prior experience analyzing and implementing policies and standards, including technology and information security policies and standards.
Experience partnering with technology risk and/or information security teams to operationalize controls and integrate them into business processes.
Familiarity with key technology and data control practices such as access management, data protection, change management, and incident response.
Experience with data architecture concepts such as data modeling, metadata management, data lineage, reference/master data management, and cloud-based data platforms.
Experience gained at large US and/or global financial institutions.
Comfortable operating in an environment with ambiguity, using structure, influence, and prioritization to keep the work and team on track.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of personal accountability; strong self-starter with an ability to autonomously multi-task and meet competing deadlines.
Proven ability to influence and motivate stakeholders within and outside of your direct authority to achieve aggressive goals.
Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts in a manner consumable by a broad stakeholder base, including a senior executive audience.

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
