What you'll do
Sketch, design, build, analyze, validate, and refine robust mechanical and electromechanical designs for low volumes through mass production--on paper, through physical prototyping, and in 3D CAD.
Engage in and support business development.
Collaborate within cross-disciplinary teams to conduct research, brainstorm, prototype, test, analyze, document, and present work to clients.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table
BS or MS in mechanical engineering or a related field and 6+ years’ experience in an engineering or design-related industry.
Experience solving tough problems within one or more of the following areas: mechatronics, structural design, dynamics, thermal engineering, fluid dynamics, optics, controls, acoustics, precision mechanical systems, product engineering, and design for manufacturing.
A broad range is a plus.
Proficiency with 3D modeling CAD (Solidworks preferred) and engineering analysis tools (Python, MatLab, FEA tools, etc).

Additional Information
Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week.
However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site or at the office.
Benefits package at PA
In compliance with Colorado’s, New York & Massachusetts's Equal Pay Transparency Act, PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role.
This salary range is specific to the State of Massachusetts and is commensurate with experience, market data, applicant skills, internal equity and/or degrees/certifications.
Salary Range: Low: $ 135,900 - High: $157,400
