Senior Product Ops Specialist, Search User Experience - USDS

Responsibilities

• Responsible for improving TikTok search user experience through research for different product functions, content, and algorithm strategies;
• Provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams on the product's future iterations based on experience evaluation, data analysis, market research and user research;
• Gather and analyze search user feedback and performance data to develop insights, contributing to the overall decision-making processes of strategic improvements and optimizations;
• Independently manage evaluation and investigation projects, and be responsible for the overall process from planning to high-quality analytical outputs;
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and technical teams to generate evaluation standards and project SOPs. Provide guidance to ensure all project milestones are met and align with the operational standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is required to collaborate with global partners, including leading and participating in meetings that are conducted in Chinese as well as corresponding in chats or emails.
  
  
• Have advanced knowledge of search products and search engines, and understand basic research and evaluation methodologies.
  
  
• Possess strong logical thinking, deep user empathy and acumen in data analysis;
• Be capable of independently developing project plans, overseeing the execution of the local team, and performing risk management to minimize project risks.
  
  Ensure resource availability and allocation to deliver every project on time;
• Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills and solid organizational skills, including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
  
  

• Preferred Qualifications
• Having 3+ years of experience with local services search is a plus.
  
  
• Excellent data analysis and communication skills.
  
  Project management experience will be preferred.
  
  
• Flexible, adaptable, proactive and self-motivated, and demonstrated ability to perform well in a rapidly changing environment.

Job Information

For Pay Transparency: The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110,223 - $202,667 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.

Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.

Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
