**Description:** You will be a Quality Engineer (QE) with Lockheed Martin, supporting the THAAD production program.
Based in Arlington, TX, this role will require working flexible hours and traveling out of the assigned geographical area to support Lockheed Martin Production Sites across the United States.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As a Quality Engineer with the THAAD program team, you will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on continuous improvement and having a proactive mindset in reducing risk to the product and customer.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Identification of process variation, sources of waste and nonconformance's, and data analysis techniques to create innovative solutions tocomplex supply chain issues.
• Assurance that LM THAAD Lockheed Production Sites' activities are effective through supporting product line validations as outlined by AS9102, accurate measurement and characterization of resultant performance parameters, and risk management.
• Provide systemic support for issue resolution that involves true root cause, full containment, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support requests tied to program requirements, interface with customer needs, and program management activities.
• Drive failure/diagnosis and strong grasp of Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems and provide liaison support related to quality engineering matters.
• Ensure contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfaces with Lockheed Production Sites on a daily basis.
• Review documentation related to Sites manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
• Excel within a multifunctional Integrated Product Teams with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non-conformance aging.

**Basic Qualifications:**
-STEM Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
-Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System
-Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products (electronic assemblies)
-Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective action planning
-Understanding of Configuration Management and control processes
-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Ability to travel (up to 20%)
**Desired Skills:**
-STEM bachelors degree or higher preferred.
-Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex
-Quality Engineering or Supplier Quality experience as well as experience with developing and reviewing Quality Standards, methods, work instructional and procedures for inspection
-An understanding of the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) SAP
-Experience and Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
