Farnsworth Group is seeking a Senior Revit Technician -Structural in one of the below posting locations.

In this role you will assist structural engineers by providing building information (BIM) modeling.





Posting Location(s) for this role: Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center); Normal, IL; Peoria, IL; Phoenix, AZ; St. Louis, MO



Job Activities:


+ Prepare Structural Revit models of buildings of varying types.



+ Prepare Structural construction documents including plans, elevations, details, and schedules.



+ Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines.



+ Perform redline drafting.



+ Read and duplicate existing structural plans for use in building additions or renovations.



+ Assist with onboarding new employees in Revit training.



+ Participate on BIM team coordinating standards with structural team.



+ Participate on Structural Standards Committee, updating structural detail library and standards.




Specific Requirements include:


+ Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related degree or combination of education and experience.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.



+ Proficiency in Revit, with regards to structures, is required.



+ 6+ years of experience with Revit.



+ Understanding of typical structural details.



+ Understanding of structural plans and nomenclature.



+ Ability to start structural models and details with minimal supervision.



+ Ability to visualize and illustrate design in two and three dimensions.



+ Ability to balance several projects at once.



+ Excellent communication skills.



+ Experience with Building Structures preferred.



+ Experience with Navisworks preferred.



+ Revit or Autodesk Certification preferred.
