Position Title: Senior SAP Application Consultant Manufacturing, PP

Position Locatio Position Location: 10856 Reed Hartman Highway, Cincinnati, OH, 45242 and unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties: Act as Senior Manufacturing Consultant and lead on assigned SAP implementation projects.

Implement the following Production Planning (“PP”) functionality: Production Planning Demand Management; Planning-based MRP; Planning Strategies for Make to Stock and Make to Order; Implementation of Requirements Planning; MRP Processing Results; Production Planning Master Data: Material Master, BOM, Classes, Characteristics, Work Centers, Routing, Production Resources; Order-controlled Production with Production Orders; Production with Process Orders, Repetitive Manufacturing, KANBAN, and Capacity Planning.

Document client production planning requirements and map to appropriate SAP solutions.

Configure the SAP production planning solution and perform initial testing.

Identify system functional gaps, which will require system enhancements/customization.

Test the SAP solution for accuracy and fulfillment of production planning requirements.

Train users in master data management, new business processes, transactional activity, and report execution.

Provide go-live support and identification of facility areas with potential for future improvement.

Collaborate with other PP Consultants on continuous improvement of processes and tools utilized within the PP functionality.

Mentor less experienced PP colleagues as they build their PP business process and SAP capabilities knowledge.

Perform technical evaluations of potential hires or subcontract employees to gauge understanding of general production planning principles, PP business.

Requires up to 100% travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Multiple positions available.

May work remotely.

Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Systems, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in any computer related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Systems, or related field and three (3) years in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in any computer related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Requires SAP Production Planning project implementation experience.

Requires integration experience with other process areas.

Requires leadership experience on SAP implementation projects.

Requires experience configuring multiple SAP modules or experience across multiple industries.

Requires experience in multiple, full lifecycle Production Planning SAP implementations.

Requires excellent communication skills in a client facing position.

Requires up to 100% travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Multiple positions available.

May work remotely.

The annual base compensation range for this role will be $120,536 - $182,000.

The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate’s skill set, certifications, and experience.
