Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for driving the quality of our desktop application, which is powered by REST APIs and a thin web client.
As a leader, you'll take ownership of our testing strategy and lead key projects while contributing to our DevOps practices across 3 scrum teams.
This role is perfect for a senior-level QA automation engineer who wants to combine deep technical expertise with project leadership.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Test Strategy
Ownership:Lead and drive key quality assurance and automation projects from conception to completion.
Test Strategy:Define and implement our overarching test strategy, ensuring all new features and products meet our quality standards across multiple scrum teams
Mentorship:Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring other engineers and promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Collaboration:Work closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements, identify risks, and ensure project goals are met.
Voice of the customer: Ability to internalize how our customers use our product and bring that perspective into team refinement meetings.
Technical Execution
Test Automation:Enhance, optimize, and maintain existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and test coverage for our desktop applications, REST APIs, and web clients, while also designing and developing new robust frameworks as needed to support evolving product and testing requirements
Continuous Integration:Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
Debugging & Analysis:Analyze test results, identify and report bugs, and perform root cause analysis to ensure timely resolution.
Pipeline Optimization:Assist in the maintenance and improvement of our build and deployment pipelines, helping to streamline our release process.
Continuous Improvement:Contribute to the improvement of our QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Reporting:Analyze test results, identify and report bugs, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
