The Microsoft Business Security team within the CISO organization focuses on securing Microsoft’s business critical functions within Microsoft’s Sales, Customer Support, Partner Relationship, Marketing and Finance divisions.

The team identifies and solves security vulnerabilities in platforms and processes to ensure the security of our customers, partners and our own business critical information.

We are hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the identification, governance and mitigation of security risks within the Finance business functions.

This role is pivotal in shaping the security posture of financial services at Microsoft, ensuring continued compliance with Microsoft’s security policies, and driving scalable solutions that protect sensitive data and infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**

+ Partner with Finance, Security, Engineering and others to identify, quantify, prioritize and escalate high-impact security risks to executive leadership

+ Develop and maintain a Finance-specific security risk register, regularly assessing and prioritizing risks to Microsoft's financial operations

+ Collaborate cross-organizationally to design security risk mitigation strategies, technical solutions and process improvements

+ Regularly communicate to a broad set of stakeholders to drive alignment about security priorities and roadmaps

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

**Other Requirements:**

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

+ **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

**Additional** **or preferred qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

+ OR equivalent experience.

+ 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

+ 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
