**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Senior Transit (Bus) Engineer** to be based in the **Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, Oshkosh or Stevens Point, Wisconsin locations** to join our growing transit engineering practice.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Be a design lead on preliminary design studies and final design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects.
+ Coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with other team members.
+ Assists with the engineering design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects, including the design of BRT transit guideways, BRT stations, and pedestrian facilities.
+ Lead a team preparing engineering calculations and developing drawings and visual aids for BRT infrastructure.
+ Reviews designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
+ Support the business development of the AECOM Bus Rapid Transit Design Group.
+ Contributes to the development of reports and documentation needed for the pursuit of federal grants.
+ Perform work following an agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
**Qualifications**
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Professional Engineer’s License.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer/OpenRail Designer.
+ Experience in engineering design projects for WisDOT, the City of Madison, urban municipalities, and/or transit agencies.
+ Experience designing transit (ideally BRT infrastructure) and/or transportation infrastructure.
+ Experience with oversight of junior staff.
+ Experience with working between Revit and OpenRoads or Civil 3D.
+ Experience with business development and client relations.
+ Desire to help shape high quality transit systems in cities across the United States.
+ Able to work out of our Middleton, Wisconsin office.
**Additional Information**
+ Offered rate of compensation (Middleton, WI and statewide.) area only will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The annual salary for this opportunity is $140,000.00 - $190,000.00.
+ U.S. work sponsorship is not offered with this opportunity.
+ Occasional travel may be required.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
