What you'll do
Value Chain Alignment (VCA) services help companies to integrate operational and tax planning in a way that allows a business to consider strategic decisions on an after-tax basis.

The VCA team activities include:

+ Developing an understanding of how our clients operate, including building workplans and project plans

+ High-level benefit modeling

+ Creating catered presentations (C-Suite, Tax Department, HR, Systems/IT, etc.) to convey information clearly and succinctly

+ Project management including coordination across multiple service lines (e.g., VAT / Customs / Deloitte member firms, etc.)

Qualifications Required:

+ Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week

+ 3+ years' experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, preferably with a focus on international taxation

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business-related field

+ Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain:

+ Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

+ If not CPA eligible:

+ Licensed attorney

+ Enrolled Agent

+ Foreign equivalents of CPA, Licensed Attorney, or Enrolled Agent (requiring NSLL and National Tax Talent approval) .



+ Certain Individuals may be eligible for the other Tax Technology approved certifications (listed below):

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,960 to $167,180.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
