The Hired Guns are seeking an accomplished, impressive leader to be the Senior Vice President of Analytics and Insights at an award-winning global digital agency that serves high-profile political, nonprofit, corporate, and celebrity clients, all with the mission of changing people’s minds and moving them to positive action.


Salary range: $175,000 to $200,000 per year

    This award-winning integrated strategy and marketing agency is looking for a focused, collaborative, creative, and consultative leader to head their growing analytics and insights team.

    As Senior Vice President of Analytics and Insights, you will oversee the company’s offerings around social listening, influencer identification, measurement and impact, and digital analysis.

    You will lead social, media, digital, and polling-focused research projects on behalf of corporations, startups, campaigns, advocacy groups, and nonprofits.

    Plus, you’ll get to develop and run a highly dynamic team (8+ direct reports under you), expand the agency’s analytics capabilities, and work to improve cross-firm integration.

    The ideal candidate has 9 or more years of experience working in analytics, data or research, preferably with experience in an agency setting.

    You’re an extremely engaged, hands-on manager who knows how to lead a team to success.

    You’re accustomed to managing multiple clients at once and juggling complex stakeholder relationships.

    This is a client-facing role, so you must be comfortable with the pitch process, putting proposals together, and presenting.

    It goes without saying that you have deep data skills—you’re comfortable distilling qualitative and quantitative insights from data sets—and you have the chops to upsell the data side.

    Big plus if you’ve had a hand in establishing a collaborative work environment.
