This is a two-day-a-week in-office, hybrid role that can sit in either our San Francisco office or our New York City office (Opening January 2026!)

About the Role

Taskrabbit is looking for a data-driven and growth-minded SEO Content Specialist to support the development and implementation of global content strategies.

This role will help execute the strategy, optimization, and implementation of SEO content across Taskrabbit’s global blog and on-site content surfaces.

This is a career opportunity for someone with strong foundational SEO knowledge, experience with AI-enhanced content creation, including custom GPTs, and a desire to learn how strategic content supports company growth.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in both traditional SEO and the emerging space of generative engine optimization, with experience in leveraging tools like custom GPTs and AI translation tools to accelerate content production, enhance optimization and testing workflows, and ensure content relevance across all stages of the funnel.

This is both a technical and creative position that demands proficiency in building AI-driven solutions for scale.

This role will be responsible for end-to-end content execution – from strategic planning, keyword analysis and topic development through AI-assisted consent generation, facilitating and program managing reviews and translations then publication, optimization, and performance analysis.

This role will also collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering, Brand, and international marketing teams to ensure our content delivers organic value globally.

What You'll Work On:

• Support AI-Driven Content Execution: Design and implement scalable content workflows using custom GPTs and generative AI tools.
  
  Drive efficiencies in content production, localization, and optimization through automation.
  
  
• Drive the Taskrabbit Blog Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the Taskrabbit blog that aligns with global SEO priorities and user intent.
  
  
• Content Implementation: Write (or prompt and engineer the writing), edit, publish, and optimize content across multiple web properties – managing the full lifecycle from research to post-launch iteration.
  
  
• Global Content Scaling: Extend content strategies across international markets, partnering with regional teams to ensure SEO value and local languages.
  
  
• Support Technical SEO Initiatives: Collaborate with SEO and product teams to roll out new content formats and SEO enhancements.
  
  
• Generative Search Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize content for emerging generative experiences, ensuring visibility in evolving SERPs.

Your Areas Of Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in SEO, content strategy, or digital marketing roles
• Deep understanding of on-page SEO, search intent, and conversion-focused content strategy
• Demonstrated experience with generative AI tools and building custom solutions for SEO use cases
• Experience using AI to generate and QA large volumes of SEO content while maintaining quality and alignment with brand standards
• Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to create clear, compelling, and SEO-optimized content
• Working knowledge of technical SEO (e.g., structured data, performance optimization)
• Experience with AI translation tools, scaling or localizing content for global audiences
• Background in A/B and multivariate testing using SEOTesting or similar tools

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable.

Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is $76,000 - $105,000.

This range is representative of base pay only and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits.

Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
