<p><b>Hi,</b></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Please find the job description below</b></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Role: ServiceNow Developer - ServiceMapping/Discovery </b></p> <p><b>Location: Remote</b></p> <p> </p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p> </p> <p>Solution Architecture & Design</p> <p> </p> <p>Define and own the end-to-end ITOM architecture with focus on Discovery and Service Mapping.</p> <p>Design scalable solutions aligned with CSDM and ITIL best practices.</p> <p>Establish patterns for CMDB class modeling, relationships, and dependencies.</p> <p>Lead design workshops with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.</p> <p>Develop architecture roadmaps for ITOM growth (Event Management, Orchestration, Cloud).</p> <p>Implementation & Delivery</p> <p> </p> <p>Lead the configuration and customization of Discovery schedules, probes, sensors, and patterns.</p> <p>Architect Service Mapping solutions for business-critical applications.</p> <p>Define and enforce standards for MID Server architecture, credential management, and network access.</p> <p>Guide development teams in implementing integrations with monitoring, cloud, and infrastructure tools.</p> <p>Ensure proper governance of CMDB population, normalization, and reconciliation.</p> <p>Governance & Data Quality</p> <p> </p> <p>Establish CMDB governance frameworks and data quality KPIs.</p> <p>Define health scan policies, certification schedules, and CI lifecycle processes.</p> <p>Partner with data owners to ensure ongoing accuracy of discovered and mapped services.</p> <p>Collaboration & Leadership</p> <p> </p> <p>Act as the trusted advisor for ITOM across IT leadership, platform teams, and business stakeholders.</p> <p>Mentor technical consultants and discovery engineers in best practices.</p> <p>Provide architectural oversight across all ITOM projects to ensure consistency.</p> <p>Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language for executives.</p> <p>Continuous Improvement</p> <p> </p> <p>Stay current with ServiceNow releases and emerging ITOM capabilities.</p> <p>Recommend enhancements and automation opportunities for service visibility and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Promote continuous service improvement (CSI) in IT operations.</p> <p>Required Skills & Qualifications</p> <p> </p> <p>10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping).</p> <p>Strong expertise in:</p> <p>Discovery probes/sensors, patterns, credentials, MID Servers.</p> <p>Service Mapping design and implementation (manual and pattern-based).</p> <p>CMDB design, CSDM alignment, and governance frameworks.</p> <p>Experience with integration of ServiceNow with monitoring/cloud tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, AppDynamics, AWS, Azure, VMware).</p> <p>Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and application architectures.</p> <p>Hands-on experience with Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.</p> <p>Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</p> <p>Preferred Certifications</p> <p> </p> <p>ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Discovery</p> <p>ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Service Mapping</p> <p>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)</p> <p>ITIL v4 Foundation</p> <p>TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certification (advantage)</p>
