The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the developing, implementing, and administering ServiceNow applications.

Specific initiatives and work products that this role supports include:

What You Will Do:

+ Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
+ Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
+ Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
+ Perform unit, system, and integration testing.
+ Debug and fix technical problems.
+ Support the development of detailed technical documentation.
+ Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
+ Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
+ Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.

What You Will Need:

+ A minimum of three (3) years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).
+ Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
+ Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
+ Experience in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
+ Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
+ Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
+ Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

+ Experience working in an Agile environment.
+ Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET or higher-level clearance are preferred.
+ Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
+ Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
+ Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST preferred.
+ Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
+ General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.
