This individual will serve as a technical leader, overseeing development best practices, mentoring developers, and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant ServiceNow implementations.</p> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></b></p> <ul> <li>Lead the design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB/Asset, or others as applicable).</li> <li>Translate business requirements into technical solutions using ServiceNow best practices.</li> <li>Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership to a team of ServiceNow developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to governance standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and recommend ServiceNow capabilities that align with business needs.</li> <li>Lead integration efforts between ServiceNow and third-party systems using APIs, MID servers, and integration tools.</li> <li>Ensure platform stability, performance, and security by following ServiceNow development standards and industry best practices.</li> <li>Manage code promotion across environments using update sets, application repositories, or DevOps pipelines.</li> <li>Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance, code reviews, and training.</li> <li>Help develop, implement, and maintain testing procedures for developers.</li> <li>Stay updated on new ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Required Qualifications:</u></b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li> <li>5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with multiple implementations.</li> <li>Proven experience as a lead developer or technical lead on ServiceNow projects.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core modules: Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment, Discovery, etc.</li> <li>Experience with ITOM, integrations, automations, Service Graph, and CSDM.</li> <li>Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS.</li> <li>Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Scoped Applications.</li> <li>Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices, security models, and performance optimization techniques.</li> <li><b>Preferred Certifications:</b></li> </ul> <ul> <li>Certified System Administrator (CSA)</li> <li>Certified Application Developer (CAD)</li> <li>ITSM, ITOM, or other product-specific certifications</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b><u>NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:</u></b></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies</li> <li>Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and automated testing in ServiceNow (ATF, Jenkins, Git)</li> <li>Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and frameworks</li> <li>Ability to interact with senior leadership and business stakeholders to provide technical guidance</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Skill Matrix:</u></b></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on ServiceNow development experience with multiple implementations (5+ years)</li> <li>Proven experience as a lead developer or technical lead on ServiceNow projects (5+ years)</li> <li>Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment, Discovery, etc.) (5+ years)</li> <li>Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS (5+ years)</li> </ul>
