Role Summary

  • Serve as the functional and technical subject-matter-expert and platform architect for ServiceNow platform and ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance
  • Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and sustained support of multiple products.
  • Take ownership and collaborate with various process/function owners and SMEs across IT, Security and other stakeholders to implement and enhance capabilities.
  • Solution design, configuration/development, testing and support of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance capabilities.
  • Design, implement and support runbooks Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance processes and procedures.
  • Implement and support dashboard and reports.
  • Analyze existing security processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, consolidation, and enhancements.
  • Engage in day-to-day operational support and continuous capability improvement.
  • Engage in on call support as needed.
  • Maintain adequate operational documentation and reporting.
  • Skills and Competencies

  • 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, implementation, administration, configuration, development, integration, support and continuous improvement.
  • 4+ years of functional and technical experience with ServiceNow Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Configuration Compliance and Performance Analytics capabilities.
  • 4+ years of technical experience with Discovery/CMDB.
  • 4+ years of technical experience with ITSM, GRC and IT Asset Management is preferred.
  • 2+ years of technical experience with Flow Designer.
  • Technical experience with Service Portal (widgets, server scripting, client scripting, CSS, HTML, Portal Configuration).
  • Technical experience with the implementation of performance analytics.
  • Technical experience with the implementation of third-party integrations (Qualys, Tanium, Veracode) to ingest vulnerabilities and policy compliance scan data is required.
  • In depth understanding of Vulnerability Management process.
  • Experience implementing REST API integration with third party tools.
  • Experience with the implementation of workspace, analytics, dashboard and reporting.
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules.
  • Prior experience working on an agile development team.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, PowerShell.
  • Experience with backend SQL Server development is preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Education

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

    The typical base pay range for this role is between $145K - $182K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.

    This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
