What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Small Press Set-Up Operator, you’ll independently set up and run small punch presses to produce precise metal parts that meet customer specifications.
You’ll read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and play a critical role in keeping production moving efficiently and accurately.
This is a great role for someone with prior press experience who’s ready to take more ownership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A Typical Day Might Include:
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and job routings
• Setting up and operating small punch presses independently
• Staging materials so production can start without delays
• Using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to confirm part accuracy
• Performing routine quality inspections and identifying material defects
• Keeping your press and work area clean, safe, and well-organized
• Logging setup info and job data into the company system
• Working with the toolroom and maintenance team for repairs or press issues
• Suggesting process improvements to boost quality and efficiency

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing
• Intermediate blueprint reading and press setup experience
• Basic understanding of die setting and troubleshooting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
