Overview:Our client is undertaking an enterprise-wide SharePoint Online rollout across their Investment, Operations, Compliance, and Investor Relations functions.
They are seeking a
hands-on SharePoint Platform Lead / Manager who can
own the platform end-to-end — from design and configuration to business adoption and long-term governance.
This role requires someone who combines
strategic ownership with
practical technical capability — not just executing migrations, but truly shaping how SharePoint is used across the organization to enhance collaboration, data governance, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Ownership: Act as the enterprise SharePoint lead, responsible for strategy, governance, and lifecycle management across all business units.
- Solution Design: Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into SharePoint structures, metadata models, permission frameworks, and workflows.
- Hands-On Configuration: Build and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, Power Automate workflows, and Power Apps as needed to drive delivery forward.
- Adoption & Change Management: Lead user onboarding, training, and change management to ensure successful platform adoption across teams.
- Governance & Compliance: Define and enforce standards for data governance, retention, and compliance, particularly within investment and regulatory environments.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with external partners or internal dev teams while maintaining accountability for outcomes and timelines.
- Documentation & Sustainability: Develop governance frameworks, best-practice playbooks, and platform documentation for long-term maintainability.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of SharePoint-centric experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or platform ownership capacity.
- Proven ability to lead enterprise rollouts — not just migrations — and manage SharePoint as a strategic collaboration platform.
- Demonstrated experience translating business needs into SharePoint site architecture, automation, and workflows.
- Hands-on proficiency with SharePoint Online / M365, including:
- Power Automate, Power Apps
- SPFx, CSOM / REST APIs (configuration level)
- Site design, permission modeling, and content governance
- Experience in Alternative Investments, Hedge Funds, or Asset Management environments strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to bridge business and technical delivery effectively.
