Site Coordinator (AfterSchool or Wednesday Afternoon Program)
The Concord Recreation Department seeks enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who loves working with children for our School Age Childcare Program.
Candidates must have experience working with school age children with a background in education or a related field preferred.
Candidates are required to meet EEC qualifications for Site Coordinator.
The ideal candidate is flexible, willing to work as part of team and has the ability to help create and implement a fun and engaging
curriculum.
Some experience supervising staff is a preference Full pay range: $; starting pay based on qualifications.
The successful candidate will have access to ongoing training and competitive compensation and have the opportunity to enroll their age-appropriate children in our program with no tuition cost and special discounted rates for other programs.
This is a 10 month school year position following the Concord Public School calendar from late August until early June.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Childcare Services Manager and a Recreation Supervisor, the Site Coordinator manages one of our school age childcare sites.
Site Coordinators are responsible for the supervision and management of group leaders, assistant group leaders, volunteers and students grades K-5 in the program while maintaining a classroom/group in accordance with the goals and curriculum plans of the Concord Recreation Afterschool Program.

Operates computer, printer, video display terminal, keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier, facsimile machine and all other standard office equipment requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
Balancing, crouching, grasping, pulling, reaching and stooping may also be required.
