We are headquartered in San Diego, CA working with clients both big and small, providing new and exciting projects every day.
Graphic Designers at SlideGenius are responsible for producing exciting and innovative collateral from presentations to infographics to interactive experiences for our clients.
They are part of the design process from start to finish, working on the concept of the design as well as its overall production.
Some projects require working independently while others involve working in a collaborative setting.
Regardless of the project, you can always count on the complete support of our entire design team.
Create visually dynamic presentations and design collateral in multiple media types such as digital, print, and interactive brochures as well as create video assets for our clients and internal marketing campaigns.
Select format, typography, photography and/or illustrations for the most effective means of communicating a message.
Adhere to branding guidelines and compliance standards set by either the client or SlideGenius.
Follow Art Director instruction for executing project assignments and within the set timeframe.
Work closely with team members during the life of the project, which may include conceptualization and ideation, visual branding and identity, typography and layout, image editing and manipulation, incorporating client feedback, and meeting deadlines.
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Proficiency with Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools, a plus.
Proficiency in UI/UX, a plus.
Strong design skills including typography, composition, color theory, and hierarchy of information.
Ability to produce a broad range of collateral materials, e.g. layouts, brochures, display visuals and imagery for presentations.
Up-to-date with the latest design trends.
Effective communicator at all levels both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly check your own work.
Must be able to work reliably and accurately under tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
Professional and positive approach.
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field with equivalent experience.
1-2 years of design experience.
Some experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, preferred.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to speak on the phone and/or in person.
Must reside in San Diego, CA.
