Overview Director of Video Production at Snowflake.

As the Director of Video Production, you are a visionary and hands-on leader passionate about storytelling and the digital media landscape.

You are a strategic thinker who excels at both managing your talented team and getting hands-on with the creative process.

You understand how to build and grow a global brand through compelling video content, and you have a track record of driving audience development and engagement across multiple platforms.

You are a natural collaborator, adept at working globally with diverse stakeholders to achieve a shared vision.
You’ll be responsible for scaling our video operations and shaping the future of the Snowflake brand.

You have a deep understanding of the video production lifecycle from end-to-end, and are an expert at managing both internal talent and external partners to deliver high-quality work at volume.

This is a unique opportunity to build on our success and drive our video strategy forward, and you’ll have our new 3,300-square-foot state-of-the-art video studio, providing the resources you need to produce stunning, high-quality content.
This role reports to the VP of Brand and Creative and is part of the larger Brand Marketing function that includes Brand Design, Brand Voice and Storytelling, Brand Operations, Customer Marketing, and Web Experience.
What You’ll Do Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of 10+ video professionals, including producers, editors, and YouTube channel managers.
Oversee the video team's daily operations and serve as Executive Producer for Data Cloud Now, our news and thought leadership platform.
Serve as Executive Producer for upcoming Brand Sponsorship series content for Team USA and LA28.
Work with the internal team and an external agency partner to executive produce the Snowflake Summit, Snowflake World Tour Keynote and BUILD keynote experiences.
Drive video production and audience growth for three key YouTube channels: Snowflake Inc., Snowflake Developers, and Data Cloud Now.
Oversee the production of roughly 1,000 videos per year for a wide range of needs, including in-person and virtual events, social media, internal communications, and product announcements.
Manage a diverse group of stakeholders and talent, including external production partners and agencies, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Snowflake, including Product Management, HR, Demand Generation, Executive Communications, Social Media, PR, and the Content team, to align video production with key business goals.
Manage and allocate the video production budget effectively, ensuring resources are optimized for maximum impact.
What You’ll Have 15+ years leading production and post-production teams in a corporate or agency environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing successful video campaigns and audience growth across multiple digital platforms, with a focus on YouTube.
Expertise in all phases of the video production lifecycle, from creative development and pre-production to post-production and distribution.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation for large-scale video production.
A strategic mindset with a passion for using data to inform creative decisions and measure success.
Must be proactive and curious about emerging AI technologies and their application to improve efficiency.
Eager to explore and implement AI tools that enhance scalability and productivity.
Preferred Skills And Education Proven experience leading and managing a large video production team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within the tech or B2B sector.
Expert in all phases of video production; director experience is a plus.
Expert knowledge of industry-standard software: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Experience with Wrike, Google Office Suite, Slack.
Bachelor's degree in Film/Video Production.
Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
The estimated base salary range for this role is $192,000 - $285,600.
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
