Overview
Assist Snowmaking Manager in overseeing shift crew to assure safe and efficient operation of snowmaking equipment.
Sets the standards for safety and quality of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prior leadership experience preferred.
Directly supervises 5 to 10 employees in the Snowmaking Department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, scheduling, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 full seasons of on-hill snowmaking experience.
Minimum of 1 full season riding a snowmobile in snowmaking conditions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively within a professional manner.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills are required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and apply a common sense of understanding.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid NH Drivers' License.
Resort Certification for any used equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
