Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire a fulltime, ONSITE SOC Analyst I for our client based out of Greensboro, NC.
This role will have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection toolsPerform initial triage and investigation of potential security incidentsEscalate confirmed incidents to senior analysts or incident response teamsDocument findings and maintain detailed incident recordsAssist in threat intelligence gathering and reportingSupport vulnerability management and remediation effortsFollow established procedures and contribute to process improvementsExperience:
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT support with exposure to security operationsFamiliarity with SIEM tools (, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWhy Work for Apex Systems:
