We are looking for you to join our team as a Software Configuration Analyst/Principal Software Configuration Analyst based out of the Linthicum (BWI) area.
**What You’ll get to Do:**
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Software Configuration Analyst/Principal Software Configuration Analyst to help develop, enforce, and maintain Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes on large- and small-scale programs in accordance with the Organization’s Standard Software Process (OSSP) and contractual requirements.
The Software Configuration Analyst will be responsible for:
+ Coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
+ Administration of the SCM tools
+ Facilitate and scribe for control board meetings, creating build and delivery documentation, and process improvement activities
+ Establish and implement procedures to coordinate changes to program data and products
+ Possess understanding of SCM principles, concepts, industry practices and standards as required
_This position is contingent upon ability to obtain an active DoD Secret Clearance or the successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance prior to start._
This position may be filled as a Software Configuration Analyst/Principal Software Configuration Analyst based on the qualifications below.
**Basic Qualifications for a Software Configuration Analyst:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with at least 2 years of related experience; Master's with 0 years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ U.S. Citizenship is required.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance prior to starting.
+ 2 years of professional work experience in software configuration management or within a related area
+ 2 years of experience with coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
+ 1 year of utilizing SCM principles, concepts, industry practices and standards is required
+ 1 year of experience with Agile methodology and working as a member of a software development team in an Agile environment
+ A current/active clearance is not required to be considered for the position, but a final clearance is required to start.
**Basic Qualifications for a Principal Software Configuration Analyst:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with at least 5 years of related experience; Master's with 3 years of experience; PhD with 1 year of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ U.S. Citizenship is required.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance prior to starting.
+ 5 years of professional work experience in software configuration management or within a related area
+ 5 years of experience with coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
+ 2 years of utilizing SCM principles, concepts, industry practices and standards is required
+ 2 years of experience with Agile methodology and working as a member of a software development team in an Agile environment
+ A current/active clearance is not required to be considered for the position, but a final clearance is required to start.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
+ Experience with implementing SCM on a large-scale program
+ Experience with software source control and configuration management tools and environments (Atlassian, Git, Jira, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Linux and Windows)
+ Experience in configuring and administering DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines/Runners to streamline CI/CD processes
+ Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,600.00 - $116,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $95,800.00 - $143,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
