Overview

Adobe is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our innovative team in San Jose.

What you will do

As a vital contributor in our team, you'll address complex design obstacles directly, crafting outstanding web experiences that captivate users.

You'll promote design thinking within development teams, encouraging collaboration between engineers and designers to build reusable, scalable code and cohesive user experiences.

Through pair programming and peer reviews, you'll interact with colleagues to navigate advanced coding challenges, fuel innovative ideas, and refine groundbreaking methodologies.

You'll dive into analytics, user research, and feedback from our in-house community team to glean insights that elevate product usability and encourage new possibilities.

Experience

  • Over 3 years of demonstrated expertise in constructing and deploying web applications or interactive websites.

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, web design, or a related field.

  • Established track record of delivering robust and intricate user interfaces.

  • Deep understanding of front and back-end development technologies, including JavaScript library like React, Java, and NodeJS.

  • Profound knowledge of web technologies, encompassing the DOM, web security, asynchrony, workers, and performance optimization.

  • Proficient in visual and web design analysis and application, with a keen interest in using modern styling techniques to craft visually appealing and interactive experiences.

  • Prior experience in generative AI space with building products.

  • Familiar with a variety of the cloud and automation concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Familiarity with Single SPA, Micro frontend, and similar concepts.

  • Experience with developing, observing, and operating products using hyper scaled public clouds such as Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

Adobe’s compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.

The U.S. pay range for this position is $113,400 -- $206,300 annually.

Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.

Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
