We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II who has experience building innovative and high-volume applications.
This is a high visibility team where you'll make a direct positive impact on the customer experience.
We are excited about our roadmap that involves building technology for new business initiatives with the opportunity to work on grounds-up product development.
Additionally, on this team you will interface with key stakeholders, who use our platform to access internal AWS services in order to address key security relevant issues.
A qualified candidate for this role enjoys building highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems using cloud-native architectural patterns.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.
Key job responsibilities
As you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture, you’ll create metrics, implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root cause of software defects.
You’ll also:
• Build high-impact solutions to deliver to our large customer base.
• Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally to help drive business decisions with your technical input.
• Work in a startup-like development environment, where you’re always working on the most important stuff.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full stack development experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Secret or above
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
