We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to lead our Deep-Learning Compiler team.

In this Manager III role, you will lead a team of talented compiler software engineers in the design and development of a machine learning compiler.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership abilities.

As an AWS Neuron Manager, you will lead the design and development of ML compiler solutions, drive execution and mentor your team of engineers.

Your expertise will be essential in developing features and optimization techniques, lead hardware bring-up of next-generation chips and influence pre-silicon design.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on AWS's machine learning infrastructure while bringing new products and features to market.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- Experience partnering with product management
- Strong knowledge of developing and/or managing simulation software
- Solid understanding of compilers (specifically, resource management, instruction scheduling, code generation, and compute graph optimization)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience with and deep learning models and algorithms.
- Experience with LLVM, LMIR
- Interactions with open-source communities
