Job description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead critical infrastructure initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, delivery, and operational excellence of essential infrastructure components.

You will lead a high-caliber team, ensuring the achievement of key objectives through exemplary leadership, talent development, and resource optimization.

As the Senior Manager in OCI, you will provide leadership to a dedicated team tasked with overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects within OCI.

Your role will involve ensuring that the team's objectives are consistently aligned with the broader organizational goals, maintaining a strategic focus on long-term infrastructure stability and scalability.

By fostering a high-performance culture, you will mentor and develop team members, creating an environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • A BS or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale critical service.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization within a technology-driven environment.
  • Exceptional decision-making abilities, with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background in recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors (ICs) and building high-performing teams.
  • Ability to make decisions that significantly impact the organization’s infrastructure, with potential implications for revenue and long-term operational success.
  • Experience in Networking and Storage services.
  • Experience in managing a large scale critical service in a Cloud computing.
  • Expertise in Distributed Systems and cloud-native environments.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • As a Senior manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.

    Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.

    US: Hiring Range in USD from: $107,100 to $251,600 per annum.

    May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
