**What You Will Be Doing**
This position will reside in Puerto Rico.
As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Develop Embedded Software
-Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
-Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
-Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

This position is onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico with occasional travel to Orlando, FL.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must also be able to obtain an interim secret prior to start.

Must be a US Citizen.
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Experience using configuration management systems such as git
• Experience developing embedded software
• Demonstrated ability to interpret requirements, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience managing a small team
• Experience with modular and / or open architecture software such as WOSA is highly desired.
• Experience with GitLab
• Experience in a real-time Linux environment
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with CMake
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
**Clearance Level:** Secret

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
