Software Engineer – Financing Quantitative Analytics

Responsibilities
Build Scalable Data Solutions: Design and develop systems to identify trading and optimization opportunities across Prime Brokerage, Delta 1, funding, and collateral businesses.
Analytics Development: Build out analytics to support client analysis, inventory internalization, risk mitigation, and efficient balance sheet usage.
Financial System Engineering: Develop systems to explain Profit & Loss, risk, and OTC product pricing, including modeling the impact of axes, inventory, and funding.
Technology Architecture: Participate in architectural discussions and design decisions to ensure performance and scalability of systems.
Eligibility Requirements
Must Have: Proficiency in Python Strong SQL skills UNIX / Linux experience Scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.) Experience with software engineering and production-grade systems Data pipeline development Experience with high-performance, scalable systems Full SDLC experience (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Understanding of Profit & Loss and Risk concepts in financial systems Good to have Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Knowledge of funding and lending markets Experience with collateral optimization or inventory management systems Exposure to financial modeling (e.g., pricing, axes, funding impact) Experience with client-facing analytics tools Visualization tools (e.g., Dash, Plotly, Tableau, or custom dashboards) Knowledge of balance sheet optimization Experience in a front-office or trading environment Familiarity with Agile methodologies Qualification Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Proven experience in software engineering and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong understanding of financial instruments, especially funding and lending markets, Delta 1 products, and balance sheet/P&L concepts In the US, the target base salary for this role is $150,000-$200,000.
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
