About the role, we are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer II (SE 2) with knowledge of Java, C++ and XML.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers, to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.

Must be open to learning and using new technology


About the team-This team of diverse Software Engineers is building and supporting A low-latency query engine for real-time analytics.


TECHNICAL SKILLS:

+ Proficiency with data manipulation languages.

+ Ability to work with simple data models.

+ Posses current experience with C++, Jave XML and Linux.

+ Familiarity of industry best practices — code coverage.

+ Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

+ Basic knowledge of data manipulation languages.

+ Knowledge of data storage subsystems.

+ Knowledge of test-driven development.

+ Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

+ Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.

+ Completing simple bug fixes.

+ Working closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.

+ Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.

+ Resolving technical issues as necessary.

+ Keeping abreast of new technology developments.





U.S. National Base Pay Range: $63,800 - $106,400.

Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.




This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
