Quick Position Facts!

Location: San Diego, CA at our wonderful G2 Ops office and customer site

Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, and/or flexible working hours, not a fully remote position

Looking to Start: September 2025

Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 plus benefits

Openings: 1 Full-Time Role

Knowledge Requirements:

+ Proficiency in Python, Groovy, and SQL for data ingestion scripting

+ Experience automating MBSE-to-Foundry integration pipelines

+ Knowledge of data quality assurance and transformation processes

+ Ability to build scalable, reusable data tools for team-wide use

+ Familiarity with Slate visualization configuration

+ Professional experience applying programming concepts

+ Experience with modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps)

+ Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification

Years of Industry Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Let's talk salary.

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 and goes up to $145,000, based on your qualifications.

We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year.

The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family.

As a Defense Contractor, we are frequently working with sensitive material, and therefore, we need to ensure where you access your work is secure.



You will have a shiny desk at our G2 Ops office, plus the opportunity to work at a military site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!).

We do allow teleworking with prior approval, but supporting the DoD, you will be required to work at a military site as well.

For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Software Engineer.

This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven solutions, automating processes, ensuring data quality, and building scalable tools—while applying modern software development practices in a collaborative environment.



Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements.

The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology,  Information Systems or other related scientific or technical disciplines.
