What You’ll Do

+ Architect, design, and develop RESTful API endpoints with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

+ Collaborate with front-end engineers to build dynamic, responsive, and user-centric web applications using React.

+ Define robust data models and database schemas (relational or NoSQL), emphasizing data integrity and performance.

+ Design and implement event-driven architectures (preferably using Kafka).

+ Leverage AWS cloud services to build and deploy scalable applications.

+ Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for application architecture, design, and ongoing maintenance.

+ Estimate tasks and delivery timelines for effective sprint planning and execution.

+ Participate in on-call rotation to ensure system stability and uptime.

+ Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

+ 8+ years of professional experience working with medium/large complex code bases.

+ Proven experience in full stack development.

+ Strong object-oriented development skills, with a preference for Golang.

+ Experience in REST API design and implementation.

+ Highly proficient in HTML, CSS, and the JavaScript ecosystem, with deep expertise in React.

+ Experience with event-driven architecture, preferably using Kafka.

+ Strong understanding of AWS cloud services.

+ Knowledgeable in UI/UX design principles.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Desire to collaborate and develop strong, positive team relationships.

+ Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Bonus Points

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

+ Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

+ Experience with database management, cloud technologies (AWS), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

+ Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

+ Experience with automated deployment tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).

+ Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SAFe or Scrum.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
