Here's what you'd do:-Responsibilities include translating requirements into working and maintainable solutions for our C5 and Cyber Solution Centers.-The selected candidate will apply technical proficiency across various stages of our SDLC, gather requirements, and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and scope tasks.-The selected candidate will be a key Scrum team member and will be instrumental in setting our direction and strategy for product and infrastructure development.-Serve as a subject matter expert in embedded software application development for the engineering team by providing guidance and direction to one or more software engineers.-Investigate root cause of complex issues, and implement solutions, working independently or with a multi-disciplinary team.-Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in developing software for the target hardware.-Work closely with cross-functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational performance requirements, and the overall system design.-Support and participate in all software development life cycle phases, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal test.-Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.-Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, prototype, and evaluate results.-Participate in peer reviews, identify, track, and repair defects.-Utilize a variety of software languages (primarily C/C++ and Python), implementing software for embedded real-time operating systems.

Pay: $73.55 - $112.58/hr.
Hours: 40 hours/week.
Length: Temp to Perm (12 Months).

Required Skills / Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.-Minimum of 5 years of C++ (up to C++ 14) and Python experience with real-time embedded systems.-Minimum of 5 years of experience with Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar.-Minimum of 5 years of experience developing simulated and target hardware applications.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:-Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.-NSA Type 1 certification or other SW certification such as DO-178.-Excellent oral and written communication skills.-Good teamwork skills, able to work in a team environment.-Object-oriented design and implementation experience, with exposure to software modeling and UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo.-Familiarity with RUST software languages.-Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems.-Experience with Modern C++ techniques.-Experience with Information Assurance and/or cryptography.

Additional Information:-Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.-Active Secret DoD Clearance.-In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.-Under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), all employees assigned to this client must provide documentation verifying their status as a ',' as defined in ITAR clause 120.15.
