As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC’s Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Miamisburg, OH; Birmingham, AL ; Dallas, TX or Jacksonville, FL.

The position is primarily based in a PNC location.

Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

**Weekly time in one of the office locations posted will be required**

The role will work within Home Lending Originations with Agile crews that solve for business problems related to First Mortgage and Home Equity products.

The Software Engineer will be guiding the crews on solution conversations as well as responsible for design and configuration changes within the Empower Loan Origination System (LOS).

Participate in crew ceremonies, such as daily stand ups, retros and demonstrations of product output.

Obtain a deep understanding of the origination systems assigned to in order to ensure the proper solution is determined.

Escalate to appropriate resource when issues occur (could be product owner, tech lead, tech manager).

Collaborate and present design ideas with partners on configuration.

Create configuration / design documentation accordance to department guidelines.

The Software Engineer will be working with high visibility changes for our external and internal customers will be using, and crucial to have reliable, thorough, and defect free design solutions as this may be the first time the customers interact with PNC.

These crews will be collaborative with many different areas within Lending including Compliance, Risk, Pricing, Sales and Operations.

**Job Description**

+ Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
+ Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
+ Writes code, tests and deploys software.
+ Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
+ Maintains and debugs software.

**Pay Transparency**

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $152,375.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education.

This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
