This is a hybrid role (three days in the office/two days remote).

About Your Team:

Our Trading Platforms group is looking for a Software Engineer with experience creating outstanding responsive UI.

Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, understand problems and explain their solutions.

The position is well-suited for an organized individual who can meet deadlines, follow written procedures, collaborate as a team player.

We are looking for a high-energy, self-starting individual.

You will make an immediate impact, work with the latest technology, watch your projects quickly come to completion and enjoy a competitive compensation package.

What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:

  • Develop data models that interface with backend services and supply reactive updates to the UI.
  • Spend 90% of your time doing hands-on coding.

Which Skills are Required:

  • Previous hands-on experience with the Qt framework and QML is preferred.

    Otherwise experience developing responsive UI with reactive frameworks (React Native, Flutter, etc.).
  • Experience with Java or C++, and a solid understanding of object-oriented development and patterns.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related area.
  • Four-plus years of hands-on experience in application development.
