+ Experience delivering scalable and high-quality ML solutions with a proven track record of publication at ML conferences and journals.

The Actor Safety Foundational Modeling (ASFM) team's mission is to protect Google Ads users from harm by building the core models and infrastructure that enable the detection and prevention of abusive behavior.

We do this by developing AI/ML models to deeply understand the behavior of advertisers in the Google Ads ecosystem.

We provide infrastructure creating robust, scalable infrastructure that allows our detection and enforcement teams to identify and act on bad actors quickly/effectively.

We innovate and rapidly deploy new solutions to ensure we are always one step ahead of those who seek to abuse our platform.

Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics.

Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

+ Recruit, hire, and mentor a team of applied scientists and engineers, helping them grow.
