**Summary**
Join a passionate, dynamic team responsible for creating experiences that enable users to get help with—and discover all the things they love about—their Apple products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a team building applications, frameworks, and system-level experiences for hundreds of millions of users across the Apple ecosystem.
The Instructional Products team is looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong multidisciplinary, technical background, to lead a team building our Tips applications and other instructional experiences for all of Apple's platforms.

**Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and driving execution of multiple simultaneous engineering initiatives.

Your ability to inspire team members, work closely and build relationships with cross-functional teams, and ability to deliver high-quality projects on time will be the keys to your success.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Experience leading a team.

Ability to provide guidance, direction, and supervise the day-to-day function of a team of Software Engineers.
+ 7 or more years of professional work experience in software engineering, building and delivering customer-facing applications and/or frameworks using Objective-C and/or Swift.
+ Extensive experience in scoping, scheduling, and resourcing multiple complex projects alongside cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
+ Demonstrated ability to bring a customer experience focused mindset to software development.
+ Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal), including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
+ 5 or more years working in an engineering management capacity.
+ Experience identifying high-impact use cases and applying machine learning technologies to deliver scalable, customer-facing solutions.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching.
+ Proven track record of driving quality engineering and automation best practices across an engineering team.

**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
