Job Description
Software Integration/Test Engineer
Designs, analyzes, and develops software and electrical systems for data acquisition, control, and test assemblies used to support the research, development, and qualification testing of aerospace components and systems in a propulsion test lab environment.
Interfaces and collaborates with program customers to develop and refine requirements.
Coordinates and works integrally with other mechanical, electrical, software, and test engineers, across labs and on programs, to ensure a complete working solution.
Prepares specifications, evaluates and communicates with vendors, and analyzes data and reports.
Plans, coordinates and communicates project schedules and procurement activities.
Develops 2D & 3D engineering of design solutions.
Assists technicians during system assembly, checkout, and validation and leads troubleshooting efforts.
Develop, design, implement, and maintain automated test systems.
