Job Description:


  • The Quality Assurance Analyst II will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of application development, testing, and implementation meet quality standards.


  • This role involves analyzing user requirements, developing test plans, and verifying that applications and systems meet business, regulatory, and client requirements.


  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.



Responsibilities:


  • Develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the application, including reports, parameters, claims management, intake services, and system interfaces.


  • Assume responsibility for specific areas of application functionality and develop subject matter expertise.


  • Define and establish quality assurance procedures, standards, metrics reporting, and auditing.


  • Analyze user needs and lead the design of tests to verify that end-user requirements have been met.


  • Develop and maintain software test scripts and test plans to ensure systems meet specifications.


  • Design and execute tests to verify compliance with insurance carrier and regulatory requirements.


  • Test and verify software; assist in testing projects led by the programming team.


  • Prepare documentation and follow established software release procedures.


  • Mentor and support junior Quality Assurance Analysts.


  • Stay up to date with current QA tools, methodologies, and technology advancements.


  • Maintain the highest level of customer service for internal and external clients.


  • Perform other duties as assigned and support the organization s quality programs.


  • Travel as required.



Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of client/server applications and claims management systems.


  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.


  • Strong analytical and interpretive abilities.


  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.


  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.


  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.


  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.



Experience:


  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology or Computer Science roles.


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in testing or quality assurance.


  • Minimum 2 years of specialized experience interpreting user requirements and developing business application tests.


  • Experience in the insurance industry preferred.



Qualification and Education:


  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university required.


  • Major in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
