We are transforming our quality strategy from a reactive, end-of-line approach to a quality-first approach - this role is critical in helping drive our Agile Engineering teams to incorporate quality discipline in all phases of the SDLC.
Responsibilities
Be the quality champion and help teams adopt all proper testing work streams in the earliest stages of developmentCoach and influence development teams on how to test and what to test in areas such as functional and non-functional testing requirements, strategy, planning and best practices during kickoff and grooming ritualsDevelop automated UI testsAuthor test plans for E2E User Acceptance, Regression and New Feature TestingAnalyze Product designs for acceptance criteria, regression risk, and integration issuesUnderstand how each component & service affects customer experienceManage web & mobile app builds and development environmentsTriage issues through reproduction, capturing recordings, analyzing logs and thorough reportingRoot cause analysis after production escapes & continuously improves testing approachEstablish subject matter expertise within a respective product domain Required Experience
5+ years of experience in testing mobile apps, web apps, API & IoT hardware2+ years of experience working with UI Test Automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or any comparable platform in any commonly used coding languageWorked within a Shift Left Testing environmentExperience working within development IDE such as xCode and Android Studio mobile Familiarity with coding languages such as Javascript, TyeScript, Java, C#, PythonFluency in Agile development ceremoniesFamiliarity with Atlassian project development software Experience in source control such as Git/GitHubTest Case Management tools like Zephyr or TestRail Preferred experience
