**Description:** You will be the Software Quality Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin team in Chelmsford, MA.
Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Systems & Software Quality Engineering (SSQE) common processes that align with AS9100 Quality Management System, Capability Maturity Model-Integrated (CMMI), Program, and customer requirements.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Software Quality Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including systems and software development, test and evaluation, and project management, to ensure high-quality software solutions.
You will play a critical role in driving quality engineering processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain SSQE common processes aligned with AS9100, CMMI, and program requirements
- Interface with systems and software development personnel, test and evaluation personnel, and project managers to ensure quality engineering processes are implemented
- Collaborate with teams to identify and mitigate program risks and ensure delivery milestone schedules are met
- Utilize excellent customer interface and presentation skills to communicate quality engineering processes and results
- Work effectively in a team environment, leveraging interpersonal skills to drive quality engineering initiatives

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
**Basic Qualifications:**
-STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline and/or equivalent professional experience.
-Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
-Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.
-Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instruction.
-Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.
-Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.
-Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
-Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
-Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.
-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Demonstrated presentation skills.
**Desired Skills:**
-Bachelors degree in a STEM related field or higher highly preferred.
-Familiarity with electrical engineering discipline.
-Ability to organize and track multiple activities and prioritize task based on importance.
-Ability to review, interpret and apply specifications to determine compliance with requirements.
