Overview
The Solutions Architect, US Distribution, will provide the highest level of field support to our national and regional distribution partners and prospective customers by providing training, advanced system design, deployment, programming, third-party integration, and troubleshooting.
The Solutions Architect will work closely and collaboratively with the US Distribution Sales team to ensure our distribution partners receive a high level of support and an elevated experience.
Base Pay Range: 93,000 - 147,000
The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role.
This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location.

Responsibilities
• Work with the US Distribution Sales team to demonstrate products, design systems, provide training, support sales activities, and visit distribution partners and AV opportunity sites.
• Assist the US Distribution Sales team in offering technical information and sales support to our Distribution Partners and their customers.
• Attend regional, national, and internal meetings as required.
Booth set-up and tear-down at events and trade shows, as well as technical troubleshooting, will be necessary.
Frequent travel is required.
• Monitor and report relevant information from the field, such as market trends, the competitive landscape, sales opportunities, and business activities.
• Collaborate internally with the Americas go-to-market team, product development team, training team, and marketing team.
Focus on leveraging insights gained from the field to contribute to making us a high-performing team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technology field preferred.
• CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification preferred.
• AV and IT industry certifications appreciated, especially with Q-SYS or similar AV and control system software platforms.
• Minimum of 5 years of AV industry experience; demonstrated success in the AV/IT distribution channel is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV design and sales engineering.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of US Distribution Sales and the US Distribution Team on the overall strategy and required activities but will operate independently in day-to-day activities.
• Position requires approximately 50% travel.
Most will be US domestic travel; limited international travel may be required.
• Must be fluent in audio, video, control, and networking technology.
• Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and AV industry software.
• Must be able to present and teach effectively in front of a group of people, both in person and via video conference.
• Experience with LUA scripting and/or control system integration is preferred.
