Job description

NVIDIA is seeking outstanding Solutions Architects to assist and support the Higher Education and Research Team and the NVIDIA AI Technical Community (NVAITC) within the Pittsburgh ecosystem.

At NVIDIA, our solutions architects work across different teams and enjoy helping customers with the latest Accelerated Computing and Deep Learning software and hardware platforms.

You will become a trusted technical advisor with our customers and work on exciting projects focused on HPC and AI.

You will also collaborate with a diverse set of scientific researchers and developers at Universities and Research Institutions on Simulation and Robotics AI.

This role is an excellent opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary team and help shape the rapidly growing field of Generative AI and Physical AI!


What You Will Be Doing:
+ Supporting the NVAITC in Pittsburgh and universities in the Central US by helping them adopt and build creative solutions using NVIDIA technology, through collaboration with academia, industry, and government
+ Partnering with other solution architects, engineering, product and business teams.

Understanding their strategies, workflows and technical needs
+ Dynamically engaging with developers, scientific researchers, data scientists and helping define solutions for Robotics, Physical AI and Generative AI
+ Analyzing performance and optimizing development of AI and foundation models
+ Some travel is required for this role, you are empowered to find the best way to support and make our customers successful



What We Need To See:
+ BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience)
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI, Deep Learning, Robotics and/or Simulation
+ Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow and Reinforcement Learning
+ Strong fundamentals in programming, problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in Python and C++
+ Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills



Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
+ Experience working with the academic research community supporting HPC or AI
+ Development experience with NVIDIA software libraries and GPUs
+ Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse, Cosmos, Isaac Sim, or Isaac Lab
+ Prior experience with DL training at scale, deploying or optimizing in production



Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.
