Our space systems team is looking to add a Space Mission Systems Engineer to support our space system development programs.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Support space system Concept of Operations (CONOPs) development and ensure the ground segment design and Mission Operations Plan satisfies the program CONOPs.
+ Responsible for the development and maintenance of Mission Operations Plans, to include LEOP
+ Support integration & test phases as programs transition to dress rehearsals
+ Support mission dress rehearsal planning and execution
+ Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Using traditional and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches lead and contribute to the development all SE work products which may include:
+ System Architecture development of complex systems and CONOPS development
+ Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
+ Ground Services Integration, Test and/or Verification
+ Design reviews, milestone reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR, PSR
+ Contributes to conduct of program design and readiness reviews.
+ Expected to be part of on-call rotation for on-orbit operations
+ Collaborate with multiple teams across the program to deliver and maintain the best operational system and seek efficiencies.
+ Opportunities will arise to support internal development and new business opportunities.

**Job Qualifications:**
+ Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD.
May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
+ Prior experience in space domain and satellite segment design desired.
+ Familiarity with the following tools is desired: Cameo or Magic Draw, DOORS, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
+ Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required enabling an effective leadership interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.
+ Must have active DoD Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
