Language needed: Spanish - Immediate need

Location: Wilmington, DE area - IN-PERSON

Overview

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is looking for Spanish interpreters in the Wilmington, DE area.

As a member of our network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the local community in a variety of settings, including educational, medical, social services, and more.



Responsibilities
 

+ Travel to local client sites, within the Wilmington, Delaware area

+ Provide Spanish-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and more

+ Provide superior customer service

+ Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality

+ Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

Qualifications/Experience
 

+ Full fluency in both English and Spanish

+ Daytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 3PM)

+ Availability to support our interpreting clients 10-15 hours a week

+ Access to reliable transportation

+ 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required

+ Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not required

+ Candidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry

+ Must have reliable phone service for contact

+ Must be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job input
