Our client operates a recreational facility that offers a variety of swimming and clubhouse activities.

It is a private, member-owned golf and country club.

They are looking to fill the position of Special Events & Membership Sales Coordinator.

This role involves building relationships with clients, identifying their needs and selling event services or venues.

It also requires strong communication, negotiation, marketing and organizational skills to manage events from initial contact to completion.

Familiarity with major social media and different software programs is also important.



Special Event Sales

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Identifying potential clients, generating leads, and converting them into bookings.

  • Event planning, coordinating logistics, managing & communicating event details.

  • Handling contracts and negotiating terms.

  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Manage deposits, event billing and reports.

  • Following up with clients after events to ensure satisfaction.

  • Membership Sales

    This involves generating leads, selling memberships, and providing customer service to prospective and current members.

    This role requires sales experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a goal-oriented mindset.

    Key Responsibilities include:
  • Prospecting for new leads and closing membership sales.

  • Managing membership paperwork and tracking sales.

  • Providing information about membership options and conducting facility tours.

  • Developing rapport with prospective and current members to encourage referrals.

  • Tracking and reporting on sales performance.

  • Produce and distribute weekly member emails on schedule.

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain members.

  • Creating and managing promotional materials.

  • Managing the club's website and social media presence.

  • Producing and distributing newsletters and other communication materials.

  • Planning, budgeting, and executing club events.

  • Assisting with membership applications and onboarding.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with members and guests.







  • Location: Fresno, CA.



     Work Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (subject to change as per event schedules)



    Reports To: General Manager



    Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 annual base plus commission incentives.
