**Job Description:**

**South Side Production Operator (Spray Dry, Dry Blends, MID, Dairy, & Weigh Ups) – Erlanger, KY**
This is an hourly level position.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available.
  
**Job Summary: **
The Production Operator in our Dry Blends, Spray Dry, Dairy, MID, and Weigh Ups area safely and successfully performs the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

This position currently has openings on 2nd and/or 3rd shift.

**Job Responsibilities: **

+ Commit to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
+ Ensure that all ingredients are present and in the correct quantities
+ Ability to make in-process adjustments based on analytical data (Temp., moisture, flow, etc..)
+ Ensure accurate additions of raw materials and intermediates into batches
+ Operate blenders in accordance with SOP’s or management guidance/instructions
+ Operate steam jacketed kettles, vacuum dryers, homogenizers, and pumps
+ Comfortable in processing meat in accordance with USDA standards
+ Responsible for ancillary equipment within a manufacturing environment (sieves, batching systems, etc.)
+ Set up and break down the equipment and make necessary adjustments
+ Use SAP, CMS, and MWS transactions needed for blending
+ Accurately document all work to ensure lot traceability, HACCP checks, etc.
+ Work in compliance with all GMP, OSHA, food safety and internal safety guidelines

**Required Skills: **

+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Strong communication skills
+ Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
+ Exhibit regular and timely attendance
+ Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
+ Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
+ Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
+ Ability to pay attention to and focus on small details.

i.e., lot numbers, order numbers, etc.
+ Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement

**Physical Requirements: **

+ Ability to safely and successful perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
+ Able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout an 8 hour shift
+ Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach and bend throughout an 8 hour shift  
+ Strong communication skills
+ Capability to be self-motivated and have ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Performing routine work assignments and following directions with moderate supervision
+ Prior experience driving a forklift and working in a batch-processing or manufacturing environment
+ Wear a respirator

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
